The One

Title: The One
Author: Kiera Cass
Saga: The Selection III
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5
Genre: Fantasy and Romance.
Brief Description: The Selection Process to help The Prince Maxon find a wife is getting pretty intense. Just a few candidates are left and the rebels pressure is growing day by day.  America's heart hasn't  taken a decision yet although Maxon and her are getting closer but also fighting way much more. Will she choose the crown and Maxon or will she play it safe and go back with Aspen?
Valoration: From all the saga this book is definitely my favourite. Even though it was different from the type of novels I usually read I love it so much. At first I thought I knew how everything was going to end, however, The One surprised me with unexpected events. Not only with the love relationships but also with the personalities of the character. I got to see a great development in some people from The Selection that made me think a lot. Although America is quite impetuous (like most main characters馃槄) and takes many wrong decisions, it was really fun to read the book from her point of view. In conclusion, you should definitely give this book a try,  I'm pretty sure you won't regret it.

**Note: this is the third book of the saga so you should read the other books (The Selection & The One) firstly. 馃槀

How to read TSC!

Soooo, as you may have seen, I actually post a lot of reviews from books that belong to The Shadowhunters Chronicles Saga (Since it's my fav saga馃槉). That's why here I leave you a link to a video from the amazing booktuber Emma Books that can be a guide to let you know how to read them in the best order. Hope this will help you.馃槈

Clockwork Princess

Title: Clockwork Princess
Author: Cassandra Clare
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Saga: The Infernal Devices III (From TSC)
Genre: Fantasy and Romance
Brief description: The Magister's plan to end with all the Shadowhunters is becoming a reality. The infernal devices are constantly attacking The London Institute and its habitants, which grow day by day but may loose their home in the blink of an eye. Tessa may be the master key for the  Magister's evil plan and now that her heart is divided between Jem and (the amazing) Will, The Magister has control over the shadowhunters' greatest weakness: LOVE.
Valoration: In just one word: amazing.馃槉 From all the books I've ever read, this one is literally my favourite. The setting, the plot, the character's personality, the friendships, the love story... everything is so well written that this novel has gained a place in my heart. I would say it's the book that not only has made me laugh the most but also cried the most. It's one of those books that moves you deeply. It gives you extraordinary lessons about the importance of friendship, family and love. Although my favourite character is Will Herondale, I relate quite a lot to Tessa. However, I  don't really like making distinctions because of the love I have for most of the characters since well... they are so cuteeeee and amazingggg馃槏. I've got an unpopular opinion though: I don't like Jem馃槄. Anyway, this book is setted in one of my favourite cities and in an era I really like because of the dresses, mainly.馃槀I like the part that it is not setted in the present since I got to see some insights from the past London. So as you may have seen (well, read) for me, there aren't really any negative aspects as it's basically outstanding.馃槈 I highly recommend you to read the Infernal Devices series but specially this book because it'll show you really deep leassons that you'll have in mind forever.

*Note: it's better to read Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince first since Clockwork Princess contains spoilers from the previous books.

Ps: The quote of my blog (under the pages) is from this book.馃槈 It has really inspiring and beautiful quotes.

The Red Scrolls of Magic

Title: The Red Scrolls of Magic
Author: Cassandra Clare and Wesley Chu
Saga: The Eldest Curses I (From TSC)
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/ 5
Genre: Fantasy and Romance
Brief Description: After fighting (literally) with all they had to be together, Magnus and Alec have finally got to travel all around the world after starting dating. Although they were looking for a relaxing and informative tour, the Shadow World has its own plans. A weird thing is happening to magic which means that Malec's trip will be far from being calmed.
Valoration: To be honest, I had never been a huge Malec ( Magnus+ Alec) stan, I mean, I shipped them but they weren't really interesting for me. However, after reading this book, I have changed my mind. As I love travelling, it's been great to red all these descriptions of places all around the world and always with that magical touch I love. I love that this book isn't just focused on the main characters and that it has a lot of interaction between secondary characters in TSC. I'm really looking forward to the second book that it's coming out at some point during this year. Also, it's the first book I've read that wasn't on my mother's tongue so it's been a huge challenge!馃榿

**Note: this book takes place during City of Angels so I recommend to read City of Bones, City of Ashes and City of Glass firstly.

Picture credits to me. Although I know it sucks, I wanted to try.馃槄

A Tale from Two Cities

Title: A Tale From Two Cities
Author: Charles Dicken
Genre: Historical and Romantic
Rating:  ⭐/ 5
Brief Description: While London is experiencing the quiet and improvement of the industrilization, Paris suffers the horrible French Revolution. After years of pain in prision, mister Manette is finally out to live a peaceful live with his daughter. However, this will only last until the secret of his son-in-law's identity is spilled. It's difficult to escape from the past specially during The French Revolution.
Valoration: I didn't really like it. I was expecting something different so it came as a dissapointment to me. I mean, it wasn't that bad if you like historical books since actually, the plot was interesting and original. I also really enjoyed the romantic relationships and it helped me with my history project about the French revolution.馃槈 However, I guess it's not really my kind of books. Also, I thought the book was ending differently but it actually surprised me (kinda for the worse). I gave it a try since my favourite book (Clockwork Princess) is quite inspired in this book, however, I wouldn't really recommend it.馃槄

Fallen

Title: Fallen
Author: Lauren Kate
Saga: Fallen Saga I
Rating:⭐⭐⭐ /5
Genre: Fantasy and Romance
Brief Description: Starting in a new school after being accused of killing somebody is never easy. But finding out creatures that seem to be just legends such as angels are real, that, really makes things hard. And not only that but realising they have a stronger connection to you, specially one of them, will help Luce clarify how was her past life like or actually, her past lives.
Valoration: I would say it was just fine. It wasn't a horrible book but it didn't really hook me up. I found it quite hard to read but maybe because of external circumstances, though. Nevertheless, the plot is quite interesting and creative so I really liked that part. I'm also keen on mythical creatures such as angels and demons so it was my type of reading. Besides, some characters like Penny and Daniel were lovely. These are some of the reasons why I pushed myself to read the rest of the saga although I haven't finished it yet.馃槄 So in conclusion, it's not an excellent book.

**There's also a movie (called Fallen too) based on this book and, not surprisingly, I think it's even worse than the novel.馃槀

City of Bones

Title: City of Bones
Author: Cassandra Clare
Saga: The Mortal Instruments I ( From TSC)
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ / 5
Genre: Fantasy and Romance
Brief Description: Clary Fray thought she was a normal girl until she discovered by chance (actually by a blond hot guy) that she was a shadowhunter. Shadowhunters are creatures half angel, half human that fight demons. Now that Clary has been dragged into this world of vampires,werewolves... and due to the fact that her mother has been kidnapped by a group of evil shadowhunters, she will have to trust this weird new friends in order to save everyone she loves.
Valoration: I absolutely loved it, although the story may sound quite clich茅 it's actually unique. Like, how many times had you heard the word shadowhunter before I told you this? The book hooked me up from the start and surprised me until the very end (literally). Even though it's just the first book of the saga, the characters already have complex personalities and great story lines. I really liked both Jace's and Izzy's character. 馃槏 Some people say it is quite poor in comparison with other Cassandra Clare's book and I have to say that this is kinda true but I completely understand it since it was like her first famous book. However, I still enjoy it every time I reread it. I don't give it five stars because I think it's not a masterpiece but it has a special meaning to me since it was thanks to this book that I got to know The Shadowhunters Chronicles.

** There's also a movie based on this book (it's called City of Bones too) but to be honest, it's awful comparing it to the book. (I still rewatch it sometimes though馃槄). There is also a show kinda based on the TMI saga. (I mean the characters are the same but the plot is quite different.) which I think it's much better than the movie.
